Hoyer Attends Annual Democratic Legislative Lunch
ANNAPOLIS MD – Today Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) joined federal state and local elected officials at theAnnual Democratic Legislative Lunch to discuss priorities for the General Assembly. “I was pleased to attend the annual Legislative Lunch today and as we look forward to 2014 I’m proud that Democrats are united behind Governor O’Malley and Lt. Governor Brown on a number of issues including expanding access to health care and raising the minimum wage ” said Congressman Hoyer. “I remain focused on these issues and other critical legislation important to the middle class including extending unemployment insurance; supporting job creation through the Make It In America agenda I'm leading; and passing comprehensive immigration reform.
