Hoyer Attends Prince George’s County Ploughman & Fisherman Breakfast
UPPER MARLBORO MD – Today Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) attended the Prince George’s County Ploughman & Fisherman Breakfast. At the breakfast he joined in celebrating Democratic success in Prince George’s County and in honoring award recipients Council Chair Andrea Harrison Delegate Melony Griffith Norma Lindsay and Cheryl Landis. “I was pleased to join fellow Prince George’s Democrats today to discuss our vision for a strong middle class commonsense fiscal policies and investment in growing jobs and opportunities ” stated Congressman Hoyer. “Over the past five years President Obama and Democrats in the Senate and the House have worked to cut our deficits in half put millions of Americans back to work and expand access to quality affordable health care. I have made it a priority to pass additional legislation under the Make It In America plan so that we can continue to put Americans back to work and help make our economy more competitive.
