Hoyer Delivers Remarks at Young Democrats of Maryland’s 2013 Statewide Annual Convention
COLLEGE PARK MD – Today Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) joined Young Democrats of Maryland at their 2013 Statewide Annual Convention at the University of Maryland College Park. “I am honored I could join the Young Democrats of Maryland today to talk about the future of our party and our nation ” stated Congressman Hoyer. “The American people are facing a number of pressing challenges that we must work together to address. The voices of our young people are critical to our national dialogue as we seek to put our nation on a fiscally sustainable path while maintaining investments that will support job creation here at home and strengthen our economic competitiveness.” “Young Democrats of Maryland – and all young people in our country – have ideas that will reshape our party in the years to come and change this country in ways that none of us can yet imagine ” continued Congressman Hoyer. “It is that potential that imbues me with great hope and deep optimism.
