Hoyer Statement on Maryland's Primary Election
FIFTH DISTRICT, MD - Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) released the following statement following the primary election:
“I am grateful to have received the overwhelming support of the voters of the Fifth District in yesterday’s primary election, and I thank Marylanders for their continued support. It is my honor to represent families throughout our community, and that’s why I am working hard in Congress to protect access to affordable health care, expand access to economic opportunity, and ensure our military installations and federal facilities have the resources they need to better serve our nation. I will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of the people of the Fifth District, and I look forward to earning the support of my neighbors in the election this November."
