Hoyer Attends the Opening of the Newly Renovated Patuxent River Naval Air Museum Flight Technology Hall and Collections Management Facility

LEXINGTON PARK, MD –Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) attended a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning to open the new Flight Technology Hall and Collection Management Facility at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum and Visitors Center. The new facilities will archive film, photographs, and artifacts important to the history of NAS Patuxent River. Additionally they will house galleries highlighting some of the innovations developed at the installation. 

Hoyer Attends Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Business Incubator at St. Mary's County Regional Airport

CALIFORNIA, MD – This afternoon, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new Business Incubator at St. Mary’s County Regional Airport. Congressman Hoyer secured federal funding to establish the incubator, and has worked in collaboration with St. Mary’s County, the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD), and the University System of Maryland to establish the incubator.

Hoyer Hosts Roundtable Discussion on the Opioid Crisis with U.S. Surgeon General VADM Jerome M. Adams

 

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD – Yesterday, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) hosted U.S. Surgeon General VADM Jerome M. Adams in Calvert County to discuss the opioid epidemic in Maryland’s Fifth District. Congressman Hoyer and Surgeon General Adams were joined by representatives from Opioid Intervention Teams in Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel County, Charles County, Calvert County, and St. Mary’s County. Following the discussion, Congressman Hoyer and Surgeon General Adams met with individuals in recovery.
